In an interview for the Swiss newspaper, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has declared that the Association of Serb-run municipalities is an idea of Serbia.
“Ide was brought to Kosovo by Serbia”, he states in this interview, adding that the request for such association “does not come from the Kosovo Serb population”.
“I will never recognise you and require that this association of municipalities have executive competencies, which violates the Kosovo Constitution”, he adds, translates the Albanian Post.
Asked about the Serbian-funded terrorist group's action, which illegally enters Kosovo and attacked the Kosovo Police, killing one of its members, Kurti says an act of aggression has occurred Sunday on September 24th that must be condemned “by all of our allies, friends and partners in the EU and NATO”.
Serbia is trying to destabilise the Western Balkans. The paramilitary group is undoubtedly an unwanted Wagner group, whose weapons are fatheric for police. The training of potential fighters has been developed in Serbia”, he further explains.
Commenting on the events at the Banjska Monastery, Kurti says escalation is a turning point in relations with Serbia.
Of course it is. There will be one money and one after September 24th, because something important has changed”.
