Kurt confirms the sergeant's murder: Still shooting at the police, attackers are wearing masks

Prime Minister Kurti earlier announced the murder of one policeman and wounding another in the village of Banjska of Leposaviqi.

Kurti, on Facebook, wrote that “right now still continues shooting different calibre guns on our police”.

“Sulmers are professionals in masks and armed even with heavy weapons. ”

Dear citizens,

About 3am this morning, in the village of Banjska in Leposaviqi, Kosovo police have been attacked by cerrast one Kosovo policeman and another has been wounded. The victim is a law officer with a rank sergeant, and the wounded is a member of the border police. At this point, several calibre firearms are still on. The attackers are masked and armed professionals with even heavy weapons.

We condemn this criminal and terrorist attack. Crime organised with political, financial and logistical support from official Belgrade is attacking our state. In this battle we protect and implement the law, protect and preserve citizens indiscriminately and independent Kosovo. Executed criminals and their officers will fail, be seized, tried and punished. The government of the Republic of Kosovo and state institutions are ready and co-ordinated to respond to crime and criminals, terrors and terrorists.
