Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti today during a media conference where he spoke about the September 14th meeting in Brussels has sharply criticised European Union Special Representative (BE) for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak. Kurti spared no words for the EU representative, saying the same is working against Kosovo, writes Periscopi.
And once former President Hashim Thaci criticised Lajcak's approach, Kurti as prime minister called Thaci <x0-European>”.
The bad news is that Lajcak has voted against Kosovo membership in U NESTO Interpol... Lajcak must understand that Kosovo is independent and sovereign. If it comes with this objective and with this approach to closing with mutual recognition, it is very welcome. Any other approach, we can freely say is his complete failure in Kosovo”, former President Thaci declared.
For this statement by former President Thaci, Prime Minister Kurti has indicated he disagrees with Thaci's approach.
The president is anti-European. Just when the current president of Kosovo is openly declared anti-European, some falsely accuse me of anti-American. Kosovo is in the Balkans, on the European continent, not on borders with Mexico. Kosovo's current president is behaving much worse with the EU than with Serbia. I do not agree as prime minister with the approach the president speaks of Borelli, Lajcak and Brussels worse than that for Vuciqiqi, Dakiqiqi and Belgrade. This is a mistake”, Prime Minister Kurti was opposed.
