Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti is reluctant for extraordinary elections, since he says he knows he can get percentages of the vote as much as he received last time.
Asked why they are not tearing down Kurti Government, Krasniqi has said legal and constitutional opportunities are not easy to dismiss the prime minister.
I wish it were that easy. In a formal sense, we don't have legal, light constitutional access to the prime minister's position... I've told the prime minister if you think they love people, come to the elections... but, you know, he can't even approach the numbers he's taken in the past”, Krasniqi said in an interview on news.net.
Krasniqi has said Kurti is a “teacher, champion and incompatible” in propaganda.
The prime minister is without hesitation and I say, if there is anything that is master, it is champion and incompatible, it is propaganda. That's why nobody can compete, nobody on the political scene, not now, not even in it, for propaganda and sordid fraud goes beyond”, Krasniqi has declared.
Speaking of cancelling the tender for textbooks supply, Krasniqi has said the Kurti government has destroyed the best practice that had been installed since declaring independence.
The “for me has been unthinkable, that one can come to power and one of the best practices that we have installed since the proclamation of independence, the supply of books to students, and destroy it for no reason of argument”, Krasniqi said.
