Kosovo in an unfavourable position, how will the dialogue continue from now on?

Serious words Monday at a media conference by Prime Minister Albin Kurti against Josep Borrell and Miroslav Lajcak for many questioned the continuation of the dialogue in Brussels. But Europeans showed firm by formalising Borrell and Lajcak's proposal, which he rejected on September 14th. Both diplomats received [...]
BOrell and Lajcak also met President Vjosa Osmani. From Washington and Brussels on Wednesday, signals were given that the process continues. The question remaining is whether the prime minister will return to the European Centre for New Faces.
On September 18th, Prime Minister Kurti said that “had a clear position of mediator against Kosovo” and that at the meeting with Aleksandar Vucicin he appeared “facing a” scenario by the European Union's emissary, Miroslav Lajcak.
At the trilate meeting, I was exposed to a scenario that Mr. Lajcak seemed to have designed it long ago. Serbia's president and Miroslav Lajcak reacted with the same opinion and with the same co-ordinated disregard. Both said that this plan is very unrealistic”, Kurti said, adding that they have gone too far with the impact of Kosovo's future.
The complaint he did before reporters that it was a “with an emissary that warped the” process, Kurti indicated that he had also written with a letter that the destination had Berlin, Rome, Paris and Washington.
Because of the privacy of corruption among states, it is not known whether Kurti has received answers, but it has greatly contributed to the EU member states coming up with a clear attitude in protecting their emissary and in their insistence on creating association. This statement also gave support to the two powerful Kosovo allies -- the United States and the United Kingdom.
Will the dialogue in Brussels continue under the mediation of “emissar who has distorted the” process?
Lajcak himself has not commented on Kurti's statements, but indicated he has no problem continuing meetings with Kosovo leaders, despite the accusations.
In New York where many world leaders have gathered for the UN Security Council, Lajcak held a meeting with President Vjosa Osmani. In announcing the meeting, the European emissary hinted that there would be future meetings between him and Kosovo's side, Prime Minister Kurti.
We had a detailed and helpful conversation with President Vjosa Osmani on the state of dialogue and the road forward in advancing implementation of the Agreement on the road to normalisation. We agreed to continue our discussion”, Lajcak announced at X.
Osman wrote about the meeting with Lajcak. She also mentioned balance work in negotiations.
“In New York I met with Miroslav Lajcak to discuss recent developments in the dialogue. I stressed that success is linked to a complete balance and implementation of the Brussels Agreement and the Ohrid annex, as well as the removal of EU measures affecting our citizens”.
Lajcak also announced the meeting, calling it helpful and announcing there has been agreement to continue discussions.
The continuation of the dialogue process confirmed today even EU spokesman Peter Stano, who said the upcoming negotiations are about what the Association will look like, until he refused to talk about what his statute will be.
The question of how to make it, in what form it is for discussion in dialogue. Dialogue is the platform to resolve these issues. The process should be developed and conducted in dialogue, not in public, not in the media. All involved know what the EU position is and all are aware of what the process is to get there to have those agreements. Work has started in some way. The expectations were corresponded to the EU's latest statement”, Stano said.
It is now clear that Kurti will have to continue work on normalising reports with Serbia with Lajcak as mediator.
A strong statement recently came from Lajcak's American colleague, emissari Gabriel Escobar, who has even asked President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti to condemn the personal attacks on Lajcak that broke out on social networks, since Kurti accused him of not being fair in negotiations.
Escobar also cited the numbers in relation to Kosovo and the Euro-Atlantic community.
“Lajcak enjoys the full trust of the European Union and the United States. All EU countries made a joint statement following the failure of the talks, with support for Lajcak. It's something they have to face. Lajcak won't leave. Dialogue will not leave” he stressed.
And I don't think a country of one and a half million will convince the transatlantic community of 700 million to change its tactics. I think there should be a more pragmatic approach from the Kosovo government. I have to say something else. Over the past week, I have been alarmed by the personal attacks on Lajcak that exist on Kosovo social networks. I asked President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti to condemn these attacks. I'm not saying they come from the Kosovo government, but the Kosovo government should be very clear that personal attacks on the special representative are unacceptable”, Escobar added.
