Kosovo police have informed us of the arrest of three Serbs, who occurred on September 20th, just a day later, said KFOR's written response to Serbian media on whether they were informed of the action mentioned.
KFOR's response further recalls NATO Secretary General Jans Stoltenberg's statement during the media conference with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, when he said that “needs close co-ordination and consultation between authorities in Kosovo and KFOR for any dislocation that can affect us and security in Kosovo”.
He has also clearly stated that <x0] expect timely and meaningful consultations for any action by the Kosovo Security Forces or the Kosovo Police that could affect the security environment”, KFOR writes in its response.
In the end, the mission emphasises that KFOR commander, Major General Angelo Rostuka, remains in regular contact with the Kosovo Police and the EU-led Law Rule Mission, in line with the procedure for preliminary co-ordination that has already been agreed on.
