Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that an explosion has occurred on the morning of September 16th in a factory dealing with the production of rocket fuel.
At the EDePro company in Lestan, on the outskirts of Belgrade, the explosion occurred on a fuel-generating machine.
“According to preliminary information there are no injuries or victims from the” blast, the statement said.
Emergency teams have stopped at the scene, already as a safeguard clause, authorities have closed an exit on a highway located near the factory where the explosion occurred.
According to the EdePro website, this company provides solutions to various defence industry devices, such as rockets, rocket engines and drones.
Lestan, where the defence industry is located, is located 15 kilometers east of Belgrade. /rel
