The EU calls: Kosovo-Serbia dialogue to continue on table, not in public, media

European Union spokesman Peter Stano has declared today at a news conference held for the media that EU expectations about Kosovo-Serbia dialogue have been disclosed in the joint declaration of 27 members. Stano said the EU's goal is to continue to develop dialogue where it belongs, namely at the negotiating table and not in the public and the media.
“Now belongs to both sides -- Serbia and Kosovo -- to make the greatest effort to achieve progress”, he said.
The EU spokesman stressed that he would not present details at the media conference because the EU does not conduct negotiations in public.
It shows that the European Union has a mediating role in dialogue and a role to help Serbia and Kosovo reach the necessary compromise that will lead to the normalisation of their relations.
