US Embassy Seeks Seriousness in implementing Ohrid Agreement and Dialogue Obligations, Stressing Association

A spokesperson for the US Embassy in Pristina has said the US continues to strongly support the dialogue mediated by the European Union as a way to achieve a peaceful and productive report between Kosovo and Serbia.
From the US, too, have called for Kosovo and Serbia to take seriously obligations stemming from the Ohrid Agreement and start moving forward in existing and earlier obligations under the Dialogue and the Ohrid Agreement. Here they point to the foundation of the Serb-run majority Communist Association.
“We ask Kosovo and Serbia to take their obligations seriously under the normalisation agreement that reached early this year and start moving forward in their existing and previous obligations according to the Ohrid Dialogue and Agreement, including the founding of the Serbian majority municipalities”, a spokesperson for the US Embassy in Pristina for Gazette Express has said.
According to the US Embassy, constructive engagement and sincere trust efforts by Kosovo and Serbia will bring lasting benefits to citizens, including economic growth, and will ensure a long-term regional stability.

Regarding Thursday's meeting in Brussels, they have also spoken from the German Embassy. The official Berlin considers that tomorrow's meeting is an opportunity to exit crisis management until they urgently called for implementation of the Ohrid Agreement, including the Association of Serb Major communities.
