Dutch MP Ruben Brekelmans has said the European Union should take tougher action against Serbia.
In his Twitter account, referring to the September 24th Serbian terrorist attack on Zvecan Banjska, he has written that Serbia is destabilising Kosovo and Bosnia, keeping close ties with Russia and breaking diplomatic agreements.
“Is Serbia's threat or the initiative of a military attack in Kosovo? Both options are very bad and deserve a strong answer. Not only from the US and NATO, but also from the EU (including Holland)”, it has written.
“The EU must take tougher action against Serbia: it destabilises Kosovo and Bosnia, maintains close ties with Russia and undermines diplomatic agreements”, he has said further.
In the end, MEP Brekemans has stressed that “these tensions on the EU's external border pose a risk to European stability and security”.
