Deputy Police Director in Northern Mitrovica Veton Elshani said that this morning it will be decided how to proceed further after the outcome of the raid action in Banjska.

The foundation court in Pristina yesterday has set a month in detention for both suspects in the Banjska attack.

Police Deputy Director for the Northern Region Veton Elshani on Tuesday has indicated that this village will continue to be blocked until at least 0900 on September 27th, when authorities are expected to decide how to proceed.

On September 24th, the group, which initially attacked the police, who were trying to get a blockade off the road, fled the Banjsca monastery, where the police attacks continued.

On 25 September, Kosovo police exposed the weapons and other equipment they were found in Banjska. Also, on September 26, the order authorities indicated that more weapons of various kinds had been confiscated in Banjska.

During the weapons exposure in South Mitrovica on September 25th, Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha said that in and around the monastery in Banjska, weapons of different calibres, rocket launchers, explosives, various symbols detonators, fears, sticky letters with the sign of KFOR, some of which have been unearthed by Italian army dealt with cartposts of various cities of Serbia, hand grenade launchers (s), most of which were produced in 2021.

Hoxha and Kosovo Interior Affairs Minister Jelal Svecla have accused Serbian List Deputy Chairman Milan Radojic of leading the group of 30 people who attacked police. Moreover, these officials have said that Radoic has personally participated in the attack.
