A draft order to be submitted to parliament will allow Wagner's assets to be classified as terrorist property and confiscated, Interior Minister Suella Braverman said in a statement.
Braverman described Wagner as violent and destructive “ ”.
The group had acted as “a Russian military vehicle of Vladimir Putin abroad”, she said, Reuters reported.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin's spokesman, said Wagner did not exist legally.
“There is nothing to comment on”, he said when asked about Britain's mass.
Throughout Ukraine, the Middle East and Africa, Wagner has been involved in looting, torture and “barbarous killings”, the British statement said, calling it a threat to global security.
“They are terrorists, very simple, and this ban warrant makes it clear with the United Kingdom Law”, Braverman said.
The decision is expected to take effect on 13 September.
