Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca, commenting yesterday in Brussels between Prime Minister Kurti and Serbian President Vuciq, said the EU has unbalanced access. He criticised the EU that their requests to Kosovo correspond to Serbia's demands.
Not all agreements can be accepted. The EU approach is unbalanced because all requirements presented in the direction of Kosovo correspond to what Serbia is asking of us. As it is the resignation without any procedure of mayors, the depreciation of the democratic process and the legitimacy of our institutions. All these are Serbia's demands, and unfortunately the EU is asking for these. We can't violate our country.
Chief Parliamentary Konjufca said they do not accept the founding of an association that is anti-unconstitutional.
“is unacceptable for Kosovo. This has also been the reason in September, the parties have had an additional effort to give a solution to the stalemate that was created through what expanded the content of the agreement and made me inclusive that it increases its political substance. Through the Ohrid Agreement, it has tried to regulate Kosovo-Serbia foreign relations and regulates Article 2 of the Ohrid Agreement, which says states will function as two sovereign states under the principles of the UN Charter. And in this context of transforming relations when they become friendly Kosovo establishes association. Otherwise, Kosovo has no obligation to give the association to Serbia and we remain unknown on Serbia's part and to fight, it would be catastrophic and with major consequences of”.
Chief Parliamentary Konjufca said they refuse to acknowledge Kosovo's Bosnia.
“We will never tire of arguing with the international community further that it is a position that Kosovo has not moved because if it does, we can move to Bosnia and Kosovo. The people have voted the VV to stop the process of Bosniaing Kosovo. The association is accepted by past governments we cannot turn to zero. We understand that Kosovo has no capacity to turn that process to zero. But, in order to fulfill our commitment, can you guarantee that Serbia will not use this mechanism to undermine Kosovo's citizenship and sovereignty. The international community is not providing guarantees. The international community should have given powerful garrisons not only words of mouth”, Konjufca said.
