US concerned over adding Serbian Army to border with Kosovo, president Osmani's reaction comes

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has reacted immediately after the Washington conference, where the US expressed its concern about the growth of troops on the border with Kosovo and urged Serbia to withdraw them. Osmani has said that the US always stands by the side of Kosovo and its people.

„I welcome the clear statement of the Biden administration, calling for Serbia's highly destabilising actions against Kosovo“, Osmani has written.

She has now said she welcomes the call for responsibility for those who planned and carried out the attack against the Kosovo Police.

The head of state also mentions the denouncing that the US has made unprecedented organisation of advanced Serbian military units and artillery along the border with Kosovo.

She further adds that the weapons hidden in northern Kosovo pose considerable danger both to the Kosovo Police and NATO troops.

President Osmani has said the US is working with NATO allies to address Serbia's efforts to destabilise Kosovo and undermine the security of all citizens, and has called on Serbia to pull troops off the border and lower tensions.

At the end of Osmani has said Kosovo remains committed to working closely with the US and other Kosovo allies in NATO to address security challenges and protect freedoms gained with great difficulty.
