Lawyer Arianan Koci has spoken of the latest special actions towards KLA members who have been confiscated phones. For such special Prosecution actions, associations released from the OVL KLA war that have staged protests in front of EULEX's Fushe Kosovo office. Lawyer Koci has also spoken of the court process in The Hague, against former KLA leaders.
According to lawyer Arian Koci, the seizure of phones, without wanting to be released in a deeper analysis, is a procedure act, which is also pre-lawed, while adding that at first it was not known why they were getting phones but that in the meantime it is understood because, as it said, obstructions in the administration of justice, which can be carried out through communications, messages, etc.
“Linked to wiretaps of intelligent phones, we can say that all phones are percussible, but that, in the concrete case, calling is done, because human resources are missing and that these may be circumstantial evidence, which could be used as additional proof”, the lawyer Koci explained to RTK.
Meanwhile for the case of Commander Remi, whose phone was taken, lawyer Koci said he was interested in knowing the legal basis of his capture, first as arrest, then seizure of his telephone and release, all of this within a short time.
“Well, the Special Prosecutor didn't act the same for all, ignoring the same standards and criteria, but that the epilogue was the same”, the lawyer Koci underlined, until he added that the prosecution's action was pointless in terms of mass, because it was inappropriate.
Linked to Frede Abrahams' testimony from HRW to the Special Court in The Hague, lawyer Koci deemed him positive for former KLA leaders.
Fred's testimony has dimmed the prosecution's work. The more such evidence, for us, is better”, Koci stated, as he added more evidence such as Fred's, the more the prosecution makes mistakes.
At the same time as hiding witnesses, Koci praised that the prosecution considers it because of their intimidation.
“The epilogue with this evidence, of course it will be favourable for us”, the lawyer Koci stressed.
