The chief of Thermoko: The most challenging season ever awaits us

This year is expected to be the most challenging for the city's heater “Termokos”, says chief executive chief Osmani. According to him, about nine thousand residential units in the heating system network will be added this season.

He has also talked about measurements placed on radiators, where there are 14 thousand families who have benefited from the project. However, it points out that some consumers have found it difficult to install necessary equipment.

Pristina city heating chief executive chief vows that all preparations have been made to begin the heating season.

The thermocos starts on October 15th the regular season of the year we're entering, but we've made the preparations that if it needs, we'll start even earlier. We've been preparing on time, working all this time. He adds that some projects aimed at expanding the network are being implemented in other areas of the capital.

The chief executive chief of “Termokos” also speaks of the “Prishtina Heat Save” project, launched two years ago, where consumers have installed measurements in their radiators. He says that some dwellings have had their installation impossible, despite announcements.

“Diku over 14,000 residential units or households have benefited from our project so far, 17,500 are in total, and another 3,500 that we are installing in new neighbourhoods. Why haven't we arrived until today to install 17,500 is because we've encountered trouble accessing residences. There are dwellings that the owners have in the diaspora, there are dwellings that are rented, there are dwellings that, for various reasons, are impossible to get in and in. However, statistics have made or exceeded all expectations in this section. Further, it stresses that this project ends in January next year. Osman also tells of the number of households that will for the first time be part of the heat network from “Termocos”.
