Former British KFOR Officer Testing for Thaci and Others

A few minutes ago, specialised Special Court Chambers started witnessing Doug Young, an international Special Prosecution Witness, 25th in a row. Young, who is former British Army officer, had served in Kosovo under the United Kingdom Diplomatic Monitor Mission and then on the [...] mission.
Young, who is a former British Army officer, had served in Kosovo under the Diplomat Research Mission of the United Kingdom and then on the OSCE mission, to return once again to Kosovo after the war as part of KFOR, under which mission, as Young declared at the top of the occasion has helped create Kosovo Protection Corps.

Douglas Young, according to Prosecutor Deborah Mayer, has co-operated with the KLA in finding persons kidnapped by the KLA and returning them. This witness is the third international SPS member, after adviser and former rapporteurs of Humanity Right Watch, Frederick Abrahams and former British intelligence officer Frank Ledwige, who also witnessed in open-air public hearings.
Young's testimony is expected to last at least Thursday, after the end of questions about 1 hour by Prosecutor Mayer and against questions by defence teams on the “Thaci and others”.
