Borrell reacts after the policeman's murder in the north: Responsibility Must Face Justice

European Union for Foreign Policy and Security chief Josep Borrell has reacted to the North murder.

Borrell has condemned this attack and demanded that responsible authors face justice.

I sentence in the harshest possible terms the ugly attack by an armed gang against Kosovo police in Banjska in northern Kosovo, which left one policeman and two injured dead.

All facts about the attack must be confirmed. The responsible authors must face justice.

More innocent lives are at risk of continuing hostility in the suburbs of the Banjsca Monastery. These attacks must be stopped immediately.

EULEX, as the second security guard, is on the ground and in close contact with authorities and KFOR.

The EU and its member states constantly call on all actors to work to de-tradition the situation in northern Kosovo.
