EU High Representative Josep Borrell has called Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, after today's events in the north of the country where police officer Africa Bulnjak was killed.
After today's terrible attack and terrorist cowards against Kosovo Police Police officers, High Representative Josep Borrell spoke with Prime Minister Albin Kurti”, said in the statement issued by the EU foreign service.
He strongly condemned today's aggression.
High Representative Borrell expressed his condolences to family, colleagues and boyfriends of police workers who lost their lives in the line of duty and congratulated injured police workers.
The High Representative has also called Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said in the EU report.
High Representative Borrell reiterated his call for attackers to surrender immediately and release pilgrims to the Banjsca Monastery, so that they leave safely. He called for restoring calm and stability”, the announcement said.
The EU said EULEX, as the second security reacter, is monitoring the situation on the ground and is willing to support Kosovo institutions in maintaining the stability and security of all its communities, in line with its mandate and in close co-ordination with NATO KFOR.
