Borrell after meeting with the presidents of the region: Preparing for new wave of expansion

EU High Representative Josep Borrell has met the six leaders of the Western Balkans in New York, where the 78th session of the United Nations Assembly is being held.

Borrell called those future EU members and added that they are preparing for the new wave of Union enlargement.

The traditional “meeting with our six Western Balkan partners, future EU members. We discussed current global challenges, approach, joint work at multilateral forums and reforms. Preparing for the next wave of enlargement, we want to make progressive integration” reality, Borrell wrote on X.
