Berisha: “school book Society and environment” has racist content for Egyptians

Former Egyptian community representative Veton Berisha is claiming that there is offensive and racist content in a school book in Kosovo.

His reaction concerns the book “The society and environment” of the fourth grade published by the publishing house éAlbas '%, which, according to him, refers to the three non-most communities in Kosovo, Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian as the RAE community.

He stressed that “is very clearly known that the Egyptian community is the particular community that lives traditionally in Kosovo, has its identity and is the constitutional and legal category in Kosovo”.

Berisha asks the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation to remove that book from use until its correction.
