Officially declared in Belgrade for members of the armed group who were annihilated by the security forces of the Republic of Kosovo, as life was claimed from that group by an effective police group is the worst signal Serbia could give the region and the Euro-Atlantic community! While it should have opened a serious investigation into members of that criminal group, their links to arms traffickers and others to individuals or entities, in Serbia or elsewhere, potentially committed to the creation of an armed move in northern Kosovo, Belgrade with this proclamation of mourning that has nothing to do with the XXI century, blows as never before since 1999, the fire of an armed conflict!
This is not only unwarranted and unacceptable, but punishable with all the power of speech and instruments available to the Euro-Atlantic community!
This is the moment that Serbia should clearly split and make up whether it will be with Europe and the democratic world of the XXI century or with the shadow of the last 3X century; with the values and principles of the European Union and the Euro-Atlantic community or with the ghosts and the crimes of its unprecedented past APU90; with the next European day of her innocent children or the guilty yesterday of suicide killings!
This is when the European Union and the United States must clearly split their minds on whether to raise the democratic alert to halt the escalation of conflict in the north of Kosovo, which has entered its most dangerous phase since 1999 or will continue to keep the dialogue on normalisation and KFOR's commitment to the very level not yet! This second one today is completely irrevocable, but tomorrow it can be completely unwarranted, because tomorrow might be too late for the first one! Therefore, Albania's appeal to big friends and strategic allies of the Western Balkans is: Today's action, don't leave for tomorrow!
This is the moment when Kosovo should also reflect very seriously and make clear its mind, whether it will continue on the course of action cut from its irrevocable friends and its undisputed allies, or act in harmony and agreement with the Euro-Atlantic community, to achieve the greatest goal in history after winning the war and declaring independence, final recognition as a member of this community! All other roads other than the latter are ways of illusions with painful conclusions, which push Kosovo from the grand goal, empty it from the spirit of the future and turn it into the most absurd hostage to peace in the middle of Europe, after it has emerged victorious from the war to become a European free country.
