Basha: Belgrade distanced from this serious event

Democratic Party leader (PD) Lulzim Basha has joined reactions following the attack on the Kosovo Police, where a police official has lost his life and two others have been injured.

In a response to social networks, Basha has called on Belgrade to condemn and distance themselves from this serious event.

The “is shaken by the murder of Kosovo Police Officers and the wound of another employee in Leposaviq. My thoughts and prayers are with family members and colleagues and employees who lost their lives in the line of duty, as well as with the escape from danger and recovery of his injured colleague”, said Basha's reaction.

At this critical moment of the fight against crime, we are at the side of Kosovo Police officers and the country's authorities while working to place the authors of this serious event before the law. I call on the Belgrade authorities to condemn and firmly distance themselves from this serious event and from the language of destabilising acts”, it has ended.
