Regarding these events, Presevo Chairman Shqirim Arifi said they are disturbing and that Serbia and Russia are behind them.
“Developments in northern Kosovo are disturbing and I am personally stressed with what I saw with great evidence that it was not only a self-planned attack but it was an organised terrorist group with large weapons equipment that has planned a long process of military transition to northern Kosovo. Normally those of us who have had the UCPM war in 2001 and normally that these are disturbing to us and remind us of the time when the conflict on our doorstep has taken place and normally with what we saw yesterday and yesterday there is fear in the Presevo Valley of Albanians that could happen again to us. This development is not at all welcome to us and absolutely to condemn the murder that occurred, but also the act as an act that has taken place in an organized manner, normally with Serb participation, but by motivation in the wider context that Russia is.”, Arifi said.
On the other hand, he said that there is fear that such an attack could occur in the Valley.
“The situation in the Valley after the events in the north is tense because we don't know what happens, we know Serbia, we live with them 30 years and discriminate against us, continue to open our addresses. We know Serbia and know it can be great revenges, we fear that even in the Valley such an organisation can occur.”, Albania Arifi concluded.
Police are continuing their work on this terrorist attack, where two more people today have been arrested and seized weapons. /Democracy. com
