30 Albanian candidates, from almost each political party, will compete for seats at the National Council of Switzerland, which will be held on 22 October.
That is how it was made known in the announcement the prime minister's office issued for a meeting Prime Minister Albin Kurti had with some of them yesterday.
He has praised them for their public and political commitment to Switzerland, viewing it as evidence of the well-being of Albanians there, but also as very important to democracy.
Kurti has also talked to them about links between Kosovo and Switzerland and the role and potential of co-operation between the Government and the migration in the field of economy, education and health.
He congratulated all successful candidates in the election campaign and on election day. In the October 22nd election are 30 Albanian candidates from almost each political party competing for seating at the National Council. This is the largest number of Albanian candidates on any party of elections”, the report said.
