Continuous operations for the prevention and crackdown of attempts to enter Albania, money stemming from criminal activities.
Finalized as a result of police intelligence and risk analysis, the police operation coded “Flux”. There are 251 295 euros and medical drugs.
The operation, in the continuation of successive operations for the crackdown on criminal groups that tend to launder money, as well as sequencing assets and monetary values stemming from criminal activities.
The 58-year-old who came from Italy and tried to get into Albania without declaring it, the money and meds he had hidden in his vehicle.
The Durres Port Border Police services, as a result of the implementation of additional measures undertaken to increase security parameters in this pk, to offer citizens, quality, ethical and rapid services, as well as to prevent and crack down on border crimes, following successive operations for hitting money laundering efforts by criminal groups, have finalised another operation for the crackdown on the attempt to introduce money and medicine in our country, without declaring it.
As a result of the police operation, codenamed “Flux 4ʹ, conducted by Border Police services, in co-operation with the customs authorities, was seized infagrey and arrested citizen M. H., 58, resident in district No. 13, Durres, who came from Italy and had hidden his vehicle -- 251 295 euros and medications -- with the aim of introducing them to Albania, without declaring it under the laws in force.

The procedure was passed to the Prosecutor's Court of the First Stairway of Durres, for further actions, for criminal acts “non-recognition at the limit of money and items worth”, “Cleaning of criminal products or criminal activity” and “smuggling with licensed goods”.
