Zelensky mentioned having meetings with the leaders of participating states, except with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurtin. Ukraine has not recognised Kosovo as a state, although there have been rumours in recent months that such a thing is being considered.
However, the Ukrainian leader found no room to mention Kosovo despite Kosovo imposing sanctions on the Russian Federation, as well as providing support to Ukraine.
”Four visits. Sweden, Holland, Denmark, Greece. Ukraine-Balkans Summit. Talks with leaders of Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Moldova, the European Commission. We go home with new political support and agreements making Ukraine stronger”, he said on Twitter.
While in Athens, only a brief greeting has occurred between Kurt and Zelensky, without having a meeting.
