New witness present tomorrow in case against Thaci and others

The sixteenth witness of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office in the trial against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders has completed his testimony before the court in The Hague. His testimony for three consecutive days was heard in private hearings until he was interviewed by the prosecution, the defence of Hashim Thaci and Rexhepi [...]
The Witness with code 3879 has testified under protective measures, while in part of his testimony, when the session was public, he has said it was part of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
It has witnessed about the 1998 period and the Lapusnik area.
The next prosecution witness will appear at the courtroom Thursday.
The seventeenth witness will have protective measures, but part of his testimony is also expected to be heard at the public hearing.
So far in this trial, 16 witnesses have been heard, all protected and in private hearings, besides the former commander of the Llap Operative Zone and a British officer, who has testified without protection.
The trial of Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi has started on April 3rd, where all have pleaded innocent to charges of alleged war crimes.
They are staying at The Hague detention centre from November 2020
