Mujejci has been arrested in Albania on Tuesday along with four others under suspicion of narcotics trafficking. On this matter Bajraktari has clarified that both states have co-operation agreements on this issue [...]
On this issue Bajraktari has clarified that the two states have co-operation agreements on the issue since 2012.
According to him, there is no legal obstacle for the procedure to be transferred and developed by our institutions, because these works also enter within the framework of the Kosovo Criminal Code.
Bajraktari confirmed that the Kosovo Criminal Code stipulates that for such criminal acts, the sentences could amount to honour in 15 years.
“As far as the matter of transferring the procedure is concerned, as far as our two countries -- Kosovo and Albania -- both have co-operation agreements between 2012 and the issue of extradition, and the issue of co-operation in other stages of criminal procedure, in which the issue of transfer” is provided.
The criminal legislation and the area of international co-operation in criminal matters, as well as the respective agreements of the two countries allow the possibility at which it wants from the parties involved in this process, so I don't believe that there are any legal hostages in the first case and then the transfer of the procedure which can be conducted within our” institutions.
"Initially, according to information that already has public opinion on the master in question, I have the impression that the charges are heavy on the purchase, possession, distribution, and sale of unauthorized narcotics and other kinds of spikotorpe or analogic substances defined by Article 264 of our Republic's Penal Code." And since we have seen this work is supposed to have been carried out on the external territory of our Republic, in the Republic of Albania, respectively. As for the issue of our criminal legislation, this work entered the category of criminal acts that were implemented and our criminal legislation even for criminal acts that were committed outside Kosovo's territory. Such as saying Article 108 of our Penal Code”.
And it's a very early stage, but I want to determine or stress the punitive terms of these categories... that's defined under 267 of our Penal Punishment Code, which is up to 10 years. While the same acts part of the structured criminal group, it defines Article 275 of the Penal Penal Penal Penal Code, which can take place up to 15 years”.
A total of 11,000 and 300 ecstasy tablets were seized during the State Police operation MDMA, worth the market of around 400,000 euros.
