The Ukrainian government is preparing for a new mobilization. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Olexi Makeiev sees the reluctant support of the West as the cause of the difficulties of Ukrainian counteroffensiva.
According to its data, the Ukrainian government is preparing for new mobilization. “Yes, the military has addressed us and will have new mobilization”, National Security and Defence Council Secretary Olexij Danilov told the country's radio. The publication of the mobilization will not go beyond the parameters set at the start of the war, February 24th, 2022. According to Danilov, this is not an unusual measure. Mobilization is the following year and a half, in several stages. “There is no need for so much noise, developments go according to the plan we now follow”, Danilov said. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Olexi Makeiev is of the opinion that the reluctant support of the West is a cause for the difficulties of Ukrainian counteroffensiva. Russia's “had time to match”, he said about the Deutschlandfunk radio.

Ukraine declared mobilization after Russian invasion (24. February.2022) and established the law of war. All males between the ages of 18 and 60 are called to perform military service and can be called to war if they have no health problems or are single fathers with children. The number of recruits is unknown. A year ago, Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar referred to several hundred thousand soldiers. Because of losses at the front, new recruits must always be mobilized.
A Short Time of Training
The timing of preparing Ukrainian recruits is considered very short. Often they have less than two months available to absolute basic training, time when they have to learn how to target enemy accounts. Bilbil, a soldier with a nickname, said we're not well-trained. There's a reason soldiers in the military don't only serve two months, of course we need more training. But we are in a situation where many things have been destroyed. We need to be quick to replace. There's no time, just go, go-go ahead. ”
While Pharaoh, another nickname for a Ukrainian instructor, says, “certainly has differences between mobilized recruits, and soldiers serving in the army five, six, or just three years. For them, it is easier to spend more time on basics. But I don't think the preparation level is down. We have more experienced commanders now who can prepare recruits”, he told DW.

The struggle and seizure of the holes is not only one of the most important operations of recruits but also one of the most dangerous. Among soldiers it is said that the biggest challenge is to survive the first time, and that hardly anyone goes through this situation three times without being injured. There is no official data, but the number of wounded among young soldiers is too high. Ukraine was recently rocked by military scandals. The media had reported that a corrupt army official had purchased in Spain. Probably with money to take turns, to claim young Ukrainians as disabled to war. /dw
