The White House has declared a state of emergency because of the threat China's artificial intelligence, according to them, presents the country's national security. The US government has imposed more restrictions on American companies in the Asian country.

From Washington, they consider that “Kina is involved in a broad and long-term strategy that leads, facilitates or supports advances in technologies that are critical to the military, intelligence, surveillance or cyber skills of other countries”. In the face of this idea, America would force some technology companies to stop trade with China and warned that violating this move would be punished by severe sanctions.

President Joe Biden has banned American investments in three of the most important sectors of the Chinese economy as semi-discreet, quantum calculations and artificial intelligence systems. From Washington they also accuse the world's second-largest economy of eliminating “barriers between civil and commercial sectors with those of industrial and military protection”, through research, development, purchase and deviation of pre-front technologies, “in order to achieve military dominance”.

The US government also reserves the right to decide what kind of investments from American companies can be made in the Chinese technology sector. Companies with this goal will have to communicate, and the government can stop it if it considers the country's interests being violated.

Chinese Response

From Beijing they sought to give their opinion on the matter through a foreign ministry spokesman who expressed his disappointment with this move, which he described as “technological harassment” and estimated that America requires “deprived China of its development rights and preserves its hegemony and interest”.

China asked America to immediately revote this decision and warned that if it is not taken, it will be avenged. In addition, the Xi Jinping government considers that a “economic change is being imposed from the first world economy. / A2 CNN
