Montenegro's president, Jakov Milatovic, has elected party leader Europe Now Millojko Spajiq as prime minister and formation of the new government.
“Preses responsibility and adaptability from Spajjic, and all political actors participating in the negotiations on forming the government”, Milatovic said.
I believe that at this moment, Montenegro needs stable government, interdependent from the European profile”.
The European Party has now come first in the June parliamentary elections.
The incoming Government's composition will provide a mirror of where this country will be headed, although the goal for membership in the European Union is constantly cited.
The June elections have been held just months after Montenegro's political leadership has been hit by the loss of former President Milo Djukanovic in the second round of the April presidential elections.
Due to its formation in 2022, the party Europe has now pledged to advance the pro-European platform and has pledged increased wages and reform performance. /REL
