The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in Serbia's government, Petar Petkovovic, has claimed that by doing so, the rights of a business and Serbs are being violated.
He has said the MTS company has legal mechanisms available to bring down the ARBK's decision, but “Pristina could suffer serious consequences in the telecommunications field because of unilateral actions”.
Meanwhile, it has blamed Prime Minister Albin Kurti's Government for taking the first step towards escalation of the situation between the two states and that, for this reason, “responsibility for all the consequences that can happen from such demonstrations of force will only fall on the”.
“For the recent act of arbitration of Albin Kurti and his followers, and our positions on this, the first day we announced all relevan artists, including EU mediators in dialogue and QUINT countries, demanding urgent response...”, Petkovic said.
As regards the suspension of MTS' license in ARBK, sources in the Electronic and Post Communications Authority (ARKEP) have said of TIME, as well as that the possibility of closing MTS almost does not exist since its status has been cemented with Brookesel's Wednesday agreement. According to the latter, the case is expected to continue similar to that of the Kosovo Clan with a complaint to the Commercial Court, but which may not have been due to the blocking of MTS' activity.
