According to officials from the two countries, these are three Rossiya airline flights, Ural Airlines and Nordwing with Kaliningrad destination.
The Russian Federation's (Rosaviatsiya) Aviation Service thanked the authorities of Finland and Estonia on Thursday for their assistance.
In turn, the Finnish Transport Agency (Fintraff) confirmed that extraordinary weather permits have been given.
It is noted that the 27 European Union member states closed their airspace to all Russian aircraft, as part of sanctions imposed on Moscow due to its war in Ukraine.
Due to the ban on entering EU countries' airspace, Russian aircraft pilots are forced to attend a course around the coast of Baltic countries towards St Petersburg.
