Democratic League of Kosovo member Bert Rukiqi told the Online Economy that this party is willing to go to early elections. According to him, citizens are viewing the LDK as an alternative, so that the country will be given a straight run on the Euro-Atlantic road.
He said that based on the measurements of opinion they have made, civic support has increased year-on-year for this party, not only in capitals but also at the country level.
The former head of the Kosovo Economic Oceans said the LDK has encouraging numbers because of the changes and reforms it has made.
“There is no question of our readiness is the question that Kosovo needs a new path, that we have discussed when we were asked that there is a tendency for power to tell us that we are not honest with the demand for elections or are afraid they are in very high numbers. We have normally obtained some of the data that we take regularly and one of them is the capital of Pristina, which for the sake of truth is an important indicator because the capital is a defining one and then even political, economic, social trends in the country. It's encouraging that we have means a substantial increase year-on-year and I believe this will be expressed even at the country's” level, he said.
We have encouraging figures from the measurements of opinion that we do even in relation to what we are presenting, but also in relation to the changes and reforms in the party. But even in reports that people see us as the proper alternative to something Kosovo needs to give me causes, meaning NATO membership, clear path to membership in the European Union, exits from status-time and for more economic development”.
Kosovo has been stuck in recent years unfortunately, and I think it has capacity, has ideas, has a program, and has believed political will to send all these processes that have been blocked, those that are blocked off and then push the rest away. Absolutely, he's going to be”, he told EO.
