Rasp: The mayors in the north were wrong to go to work under police escorts.

Minister for Communities and Kthim Nenad Rassic estimates it has been wrong that the mayors of northern municipalities have been followed by police officials at the moment they won the elections and tried to get to their place of work. Rassic says that if he were in place of those mayors, he would only inform the police. [...]
Rassic says that if he were in place of those mayors, he'd only call the police after being held up at some attempt to get to work.
The only mistake they've made is that they haven't tried to get to their place of work, when they've taken power, or when they've won the election, regardless of the vote, you go to the workplace, where every normal person can go. Without the police, without any escort... and if it happens that I can't once, I've tried a few times, at that time I don't have the conditions to go out to the workplace... then you can go in another way, report to the police, or so on”, he declared at “Diari” on Tv 1.
On May 26th, the situation in the north has been tense, following protests by Serbian citizens who have opposed the departure of newly elected mayors to municipalities in Leposaviq, Zvecan and Zubin Potok.
