The director of the so-called “Office for Kosovo” in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkov, has not received well the statements of the US ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Havenier, who has said Kosovo is a democratic state, with existing borders.
” We know well, ambassador, where the borders are in Kosovo, they are the borders of Serbia in line with the UN Charter and UN Resolution 1244. And the Serbian List is the choice and voice of the Serbian people protecting the national interests of their people in Kosovo, not of foreign embassies”, Petkovic has declared.
This statement has been countered by President Osmani's cabinet chief, Blerim Vela.
