Pendarovski for gatherings in Ciir and Tetovo: Organisers Rewarded

Northern Macedonia President Stevo Pendarovski has reacted to organising gatherings in Tetovo and Cair.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti also attended these gatherings.

On this occasion Pendarovski said that chauvinist ideas were promoted in these organisations.

He has demanded that organisers be punished.

“Public Gathering organisers in Tetovo and Cair should be legally sanctioned for violating legal provisions for the use of state flag and anthems and community flags and symbols, totally ignoring the symbols of the state. In that direction, I call on competent bodies to carry out the initial procedures as soon as possible, Pendarovski underlined in response. The way to realise the idea of changing the road to the Cair municipality, according to Pendarovski's response, is contrary to the principle of democratic debate and respect of the historical heritage of all communities in the state”, he said.
