The Democratic Party of Kosovo estimates that the situation in Kosovo -- for the state and citizens -- is serious and comes as a consequence of the government's inability, mismanagement and multiple abuses.
The involvement of this power in various circumstances, of those with energy, state reserves, textbooks, narcotics trafficking, mismanagement of various institutions, and numerous misuses of official duties dislodge the true character of this Government.
The PDK expresses great concern that as a result of this governance, over 150 thousand citizens have released the country in the past two years, the cost of living has increased, and every day the number of Kosovo families that are moving towards the poverty threshold has increased. Furthermore, the well-being of citizens and the state's progress, which, as a result of international sanctions, has been damaged by the strategic coalitions of the state, and Kosovo has lost a large range of international funds.
Yes, from this bitter political and economic reality in the country, the Steering Council The PDK, at the meeting held on July 3rd 2023, had decided on the suspension of any official communication and interruption of institutional co-operation with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani dealt with Sadriu, as well as Vetevendosje Movement.
In this context, the headship of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, as a result of disrespecting this decision by some of its members from the branch in Gjilan, at today's meeting, has decided to exclude from all its structures, three members: Leonora Morina ı Bunjak, Enver Shaban and Bajram Isufin.
disfellowshipped officials have not implemented party positions and the decision of the PDK Steering Council even after the written request of July 31st 2023, officially communicated by the secretary general The PDK, and have continued to serve the Vetevendosje Movement in the Gjilan municipality, despite the coalition's collapse long ago.
During this meeting, the successful organisation of the “Youth Month” by the Democratic Youth of Kosovo, where, throughout August, 24 activities are under way in most of Kosovo's municipalities. Numerous young men and women have joined Democratic Youth in displaying their talent but also determined to contribute to building a better future for them.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo, through all its organs and officials, remains committed to defending the interests of the state and citizens. To The PDK, this Government has already lost every credibility and need to return to citizens through early elections, is necessary. Kosovo, today, before all else, needs a creditable, responsible, capable government which, in co-operation with international allies, will return the country to the proper course of development and Euro-Atlantic integration.
