PDK excludes three members in Gjilan, co-operated with VV

At this meeting, The PDK has made a decision to exclude some of its members from the branch in Gjilan because they have respected a party decision linking with President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti.

“Steering Council The PDK, at the meeting held on July 3rd 2023, had decided on the suspension of any official communication and interruption of institutional co-operation with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani dealt with Sadriu, as well as Vetevendosje Movement. The Democratic Party of Kosovo says the situation in Kosovo -- for the state and the citizens -- is serious and comes as a consequence of the government's inability, mismanagement and multiple abuses.

The involvement of this power in different proximitys, from those with energy, state reserves, textbooks, narcotics trafficking, mismanagement of various institutions, and multiple misuses of official duties dislodge the true character of this Government”.

The PDK expresses the major “concern that as a result of this governance, over 150 thousand citizens have released the country in the last two years, the cost of living has increased, and each day the number of Kosovo families moving towards the poverty threshold is increasing. Furthermore, the well-being of citizens and the state's progress, which, as a result of international sanctions, has been damaged by strategic state alliances, and Kosovo has lost a large array of international funds”.

So, The PDK said that starting with “this bitter political and economic reality in the country” has made the decision to exclude its members.

“During this meeting, the successful organisation of “Youth Month” from Democratic Youth of Kosovo, where 24 different activities are under way throughout August in most of Kosovo municipalities. Numerous young men and women have joined Democratic Youth, displaying their talent, but the determination to contribute to building a better future for them” is further said in the party's communiqué.

The Kosovo Democratic Party, through all its organs and officials, remains committed to protecting the interests of the state and citizens. To The PDK, this Government has already lost every credibility and need to return to citizens through early elections, is necessary. Kosovo, today, before all else, needs a creditable, responsible, capable government and, in co-operation with international allies, will return the country to the proper course of development and Euro-Atlantic integration”.
