Paper dumish for pillars “Made in Serbia” placed on the Gjilan Highway

He has told of key projects, but has also talked about the opposition's allegations of mismanagement in the ministry, but also about capital investments.

Durmish, during the interview, has been declared for the Pristina highway '% Gjilan, where, according to him, the works are being conducted with an added dynamic.

He expressed optimism that this highway would be released for circulation by the end of 2023.

“On the Pristina highway é Gjilan are developing works with an added dynamic. We're very optimistic that we'll finish by the end of the year. More than 70% of the works have been accomplished, we are in the final phase, eight economic operators working in parallel. Some have done better, some have had more problems, problems of various types”, he said in an interview for Telegrafi.

Durmish said he had to solve the problems that have been in this part, while at the moment he said there are no obstacles.

Deputy Prime Minister said the Pristina highway '% Gjilan makes closer the connection to Corridor 10.

We are optimistic that by the end of the year we will open this highway to circulation. It's one of the most important projects, this offers us the Corridor 10, is the solution for Anamorawa, but not just for them, from next year we'll tender the continuation of the highway from Bresalci to the White Land border, because from there we only have 10 kilometers of contact with Corridor 10”, he said.

Durmish said during the interview that the goal of highways is to connect international corridors, and that this is their priority.

Asked about some pillars that are situated on the road and that are Serbian production, Durmish said they cannot impose economic operators on where they are supplied, however, he said he would not want these operators to be supplied by the Serbian state.

“We can't do these contractual obligations, we can't place economic operators where they supply products for road construction. We as institutions take action whenever there is a need, as the minister along with the design companies do the technical specifications, dimensions and companies can be supplied to Germany, Italy, but perhaps they may have been supplied earlier in Serbia too”, he said, among other things.
