Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has said that today with Hungary's prime minister, Viktor Orban, has also talked about the situation in northern Kosovo.
He, at a media conference in Budapest, has stated: “We will have a better and greater understanding than 25 years ago and that trend of mutual understanding will continue, because we behave as honest and close friends”, said Vuciq, responding to the question of whether the situation in Kosovo had been discussed during the meeting.
He added that the Serbian and Hungarian people feel close at every location and at every step.
Vuciq also referred to the situation in Montenegro, where, as he said, “all world ambassadors intervene on who is allowed to enter Government and expect Serbs to thank for recognising Kosovo's independence”.
If Ulcincii or Plava divides, we'll accept it immediately, and if you don't send us champagne, will we say you're threatening us? It's like when Kurt is making trouble and they say it's not Kurt's fault, but Vucin's for not recognising Kosovo. Should we threaten Montenegro, what nonsense these are, we don't even think about it. We just ask what the position of Serbs is. Germans in Hungary have everything from gardens to schools. There are very few Germans in Hungary. And in Montenegro there are 30 percent Serbs who have no right. The best thing is to make special thank you cards for all those who recognised Kosovo“, Vuciq said.
