Fuel supply has not stopped in Kosovo these days. Already a litre of oil has reached 1.60 euros.
Oil Association Chairman Fadil Beryan has acknowledged that these days there are rising prices for fuel.
“Prices on the Kosovo market behave: design 1.45 cents to 1.60 euros and fuel 1.24 to 1.49 euros. The price for our standard is high, the real price would be 1 euro per litre, but it doesn't depend on us because the price defines bezza and the OPEC production organisation”.
The Kosovo government days ago has decided on setting the ceiling price for derivatives, as their price has now increased.
But this decision seems to be not leaving the price cut.
Weeks ago, a litre of oil in Kosovo has cost up to 1.43 euros for a litre of oil and a litre of 1.46 euros.
The report says that this decision has been made in order to protect consumers, protect competition and avoid market disorders.
