The miners' union: The time when miners are left in the mercy of fate is over

According to the union, this meeting was without “any content, purpose or will sincerely contribute to overcoming problems from management”.

The yesterday's “meeting against our desire and our efforts as unions to address the problems we face and find concrete solutions on the management did not have a sincere effort to find the way to co-operation and overcome the challenges we face. For unionists, halting salaries for striking miners is unacceptable and would force them to take all legal measures until rights are realised.
