Prime Minister Albin Kurti, during his visit to Tetovo, said he has gone there for party purposes, but for his visit he was named national.
Kurti visited Tetovo and Chirin, two municipalities led by opposition mayors, but said he went there because of the invitation he received from them.
In an interview for local television “Koha TV”, Kurti was also asked about his reports with Ali Ahmeti and Edi Rama.
We have correct reports, good reports. It's a matter of institutional responsibilities that we have, but it's political and national, but that doesn't mean we don't get criticized or we never disagree about anything. I believe criticism is part of democracy and they must be constructive”.
Kurti also mentioned the annulment of the two governments' collection by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
It is a pity that on June 14th, the meeting of the two governments, which was prepared months ago, but the cancellation of it did not take place, but we have made all preparations. It is good not to expect the next meeting to sign those agreements, which was finally made by official Tirana except from Pristina”, Kurti said.
Kurti said there are also contacts with leaders of other Albanian political parties, but not only.
Also, we have contacts at various international forums, but also live because they are among these Social Democrats. So this visit is not partisan, it's national for the benefit of both our states, it's for the benefit of the citizens on both sides of the border so that they can be the beneficiaries of us politicians who hold functions and perform activities”, Kurt said.
