The three suspects -- two officials of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Trade, Irfan Lipovica and Hafiz Gara, along with businessman Ridvan Muharremi -- were arrested yesterday under suspicion of acts “due to official duty”, as well as “Aids in carrying out the criminal offence of official duty.
The 30-day detention assignment has confirmed to the media Durim Osmani, the lawyer of suspect Irfan Lipovica and Bekim Kelani, the lawyer of suspect Hafiz Gara.
In addition to the arrests, several hours of raids were conducted yesterday at MINT's offices and the properties of Ridvan Muharrem. The Special Prosecutor has announced that material evidence that will be used for further investigative procedures has been provided and seized during the raid.
