Kurti in Slovenia accepts withdrawal from the north: We have reduced the police twice.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti, during his speech at a panel in Slovenia, along with the other prime minister of the region, has talked about the despassing of the situation in the north, indicating that the presence of police has decreased and that he now awaits the elections. I fully agree that there should be deespasses, we must cut the tests and there are about two months since there has been no violent protests in northern Kosovo municipalities. We have cut the number twice from 25 per cent of the Kosovo Police in these municipalities, and I expect early elections in northern municipalities. I hope we will have an open and fair campaign for free and democratic elections” he said.
Kurti has also been asked about five EU states that have not recognised Kosovo.
There are small steps and we hope the states that have not accepted us. Another way is those skeptical states, to convince them with developments and results”, Kurti said. The government chief also hopes that Kosovo, to be part of the Council of Europe, and partnership with NATO.
