On January 1st, all Kosovo citizens will move visa-free to European Union countries. So stated Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who is staying in Bland, Slovenia.
In this communique where details were provided from last night's prime minister's dinner in the town of Bled, Slovenia, visa liberalisation was confirmed, besides Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The prime minister stressed the importance of implementing the agreements reached last year in the Berlin Process, where he singled out freedom of movement. On January 1st, 2024 all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will be moved without visas to European Union countries, while being asked for visas to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the remaining 50 days before the summit in Tirana, it is important to begin full implementation of the three agreements we have signed in Berlin”, the communique says.
Kurti attended the labour dinner invited by Republika Slovenia Prime Minister Robert Golob for regional leaders and European Council President Charles Michel.
