Kurti reporting after landing north: It's quiet out there, we can cut down the police.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that from today the reduction of 25% more of the Kosovo police presence in the three municipalities in the country's north began. He said it comes after assessing the security situation from the meeting that the parliament held Kosovo Police directors with EULEX and KFOR. [...]
He said it comes after assessing the security situation from the meeting that the parliament held Kosovo Police directors with EULEX and KFOR.
So security is good, the situation is quiet and we can reduce some presence of our police. Law rule and public order are increasingly well maintained. It's been about a month and a half since we have no major incidents and violent protests. We thank the police and citizens indiscriminately for co-operation and correctness”.
Kurti explained that the police reduction will occur gradually and that this is only for police presence in and around municipal objects.
“As we said more than two months ago: 1) there will be no immediate and immediate reduction of the presence of the police, but only gradual and proportional; 2) reduction is valid for police presence in municipal buildings and their surroundings, not for the north of the country, where there is still the challenge of working for full rule of the rule of law”.
The prime minister said that through these decisions, they are implementing the agreement between Kosovo and the EU that was reached in Bratislava for the extension of the situation in the country's north.
“We are implementing with responsibility and seriousness, sincerity and caution, the Bratislava Agreement from July 10th 2023 in the function of EU requirements from June 3rd 2023 to de-sepros. The joint constatement with international factors for the apparent improvement of the peace and security level in the north testifies to the clear de-pass. At the same time, we are alert to the potential re-exception that could come from statements that incite hatred and political and state aggression of our northern neighbour”.
But at the end of the Facebook post, Kurti has charged that hybrid war is under way against Kosovo and its government, adding that this “will fail”.
We're counting on citizens not to fall prey to various disinformations, from those who are the result of misunderstanding, misunderstanding or misinterpreting the situation and developments, to those that are publicly transmitted anti-government desires as actual news. The hybrid war against the independent Republic of Kosovo and its democratic and progressive government will fail”.
