The ANA news agency MPA reports that Prime Minister Mitsotakis's initiative to invite Greece's role as a pillar for stability, peace and energy security in the Balkans and Southeast Europe on Monday (August 21st) to the Western Balkan news agency and EU member states in Mansion Maximo for an informal discussion on the region's enlargement and European future.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel have responded positively to Mitsotakis's invitation, something that is essential and symbolic.
In addition to Kurti, from regional leaders, North Macedonia Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers head Borjana Christo, as well as former Serbian President of Milosevic Aleksandar Vuciq will participate.
Leaders of countries that are EU members as Bulgaria's prime minister, Nikolay Denkov, Croatia's Andrey Plenkov, and Romania's Ion-Marsel Ciolacu will participate in informal dinners.
